Recognizing independent, private health and patient advocates and navigators
for their successful work with the patients and caregivers they serve.

Independent private professional patient advocacy as a service provided to individual patients has been growing exponentially over the past decade. Between the implementation of the ACA, rising costs in general, and more and more reports of medical errors and poor care, patients seek assistance with their health system journey much as they might seek help from a lawyer, an accountant, a real estate agent, or any other personal service provider who can keep them out of hot water and get them what they need.

Today there are several hundred private patient advocates across the United States and Canada. More men and women join their ranks every day.

In recognition of the successful work they do for caregivers and patients who represent a wide variety of diagnoses and financial challenges, we honor private professional patient advocates.
